      <description>&lt;p&gt;Good job with this precious gem.
If only you made this 2 months ago, back then all the authentication libraries for phpbb were for phpbb2 which utilizes a simple md5 call.
Nowadays they have a hashing algorithm made from scratch and that was a bit of a pain to rewrite in Ruby.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Awesome stuff, kudos for that. I also have a pretty large phpbb3-based forum (that&amp;#8217;s been running for ~3 years now) and would love to write rails applications for this community that could use at least the same login.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;ve been also trying to give phpbb3 some webservice possibilities (&lt;a href="http://github.com/tomash/phpbb3_webservices/tree" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://github.com/tomash/phpbb3_webservices/tree&lt;/a&gt;) and maybe you&amp;#8217;d be interested in it?&lt;/p&gt;</description>
